Support Amani By Shopping

Give As You Live

Give As You Live is an online tool, which allows you to raise money for Amani while shopping for every day essentials with your favourite online retailers, at no extra cost to you or Amani. It works much in the way of price comparison sites; participating online retailers pay a commission when an online purchase was directed through the Give As You Live platform, and Give As You Live then passes some of that commission onto us, your selected charity.

With over 4,000 retailers such as Amazon, ASOS, M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco and John Lewis offering anywhere between 1-10% of your purchase value, this is a great way to support Amani with a little, often.

To join in, just visit the Give As You Live website, chose 'Friends of Amani UK' as your charity, and start shopping!

******************************************************************************************

Debbie Carmichael is an amateur artist who trained at the Leeds College of Art and Design, working primarily in water colour and acrylic. Along with her husband Robin, Debbie lived in Tanzania for 6 years during the 1970s, before returning to Moshi from 2003-2005. It was then that they became actively involved in Amani, with Robin acting as a trustee in those early years. Debbie's work is inspired by her Christian faith and her time in East Africa and at Amani. Today, she donates all proceeds from selling her artwork to Amani, in the hope that it might "bring in a few coppers".
